Who we are and what this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the website operated by San Diego Custom Iron Works, Inc. (“San Diego Custom Iron Works,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and information you provide when you contact us about our services. We serve customers in San Diego County, California.
Contact: [email protected] · (858) 945-3165.
This is a description of our current practices based on the website and settings reviewed on the date above. The site currently does not provide an account, checkout, contact form, or live chat. We use Google Search Console to review how the site appears in Google Search; it is not Google Analytics and does not install an on-site behavior analytics tag. Cloudflare Web Analytics is disabled for the Pages project. The site source code does not show Google Analytics tags, advertising pixels, or browser-based tracking storage. Our practices may change as the site or business changes.
Information you choose to provide
If you call, text, or email us, you may provide identifiers and contact details such as your name, phone number, email address, and project or property location. You may also share project descriptions, measurements, photographs, scheduling details, or other information relevant to an estimate or service.
We use that information to respond to you, understand and discuss a project, arrange a site visit, prepare or manage a proposal or agreement, provide services, keep appropriate business records, and address legal or safety matters.
Technical information and hosting
When a browser requests a website, the hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and referral information in server or security logs. The site is built for Cloudflare Pages hosting. The precise data collected and its retention depend on the hosting account’s configuration and provider practices; we do not control every technical log setting.
The current site does not intentionally use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or precise-geolocation features. Hosting or security functions may use essential technical processing or storage. If we add analytics, embedded media, forms, or other tracking features, we will review and update this policy and any notices or choices that may be required.
When information may be shared
We may share information with service providers needed to operate the website or communicate with you, including website hosting and security providers and the phone, text, or email services involved in your chosen method of contact. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to provide a requested service, protect people or property, comply with law, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Our pages may link to third-party websites, such as mapping, review, licensing, or social platforms. If you follow one of those links, that third party’s privacy practices apply to your activity there. We do not control their sites or policies.
Based on the website features currently present, we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use the website to build advertising profiles. This statement describes current website practices and should be revisited if those practices change.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, manage projects and business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our business. The appropriate period varies with the type of information and the circumstances. Communications may also remain with your phone, text, or email provider.
We use reasonable measures intended to protect information, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
California privacy choices
Some California privacy laws apply only to businesses meeting specified legal criteria. We have not represented here that San Diego Custom Iron Works meets or does not meet those criteria. The California Privacy Protection Agency explains that CCPA coverage depends on factors including the business’s activities and statutory thresholds.
If a California privacy law applies to our handling of your information, you may have rights such as requesting access to, deletion or correction of certain personal information, or opting out of sale or sharing where applicable. To make a request, email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line or call (858) 945-3165. Please describe the request and provide enough information for us to locate it. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and may ask an authorized agent for documentation where permitted or required. We will handle requests as required by applicable law.
California residents can learn more about applicable rights from the California Privacy Protection Agency. If our practices change to include sale or sharing as defined by law, we will provide any required notice and opt-out method.
Children’s information
This website and our custom metalwork services are intended for adults arranging residential or commercial projects. The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 through it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information may contact us using the details above.
